Tony was able to recommend a restaurant to eat at immediately and then a bus tour we could take to see some of the sites as we were only in Rome for the night.
The most advantage of this hotel would be proximity from Termini station. The hotel is actually located next to Opera Theatre and 6-7 minutes walking distance from the station. The breakfast is good. We asked the staff to open breakfast a bit earlier than 0700 since our tour pick us up at 0710. The hotel accepted our request delightfully. That would be another good point for us.
The room is not spacious but clean enough. As some others stated, the entrance steps are a little bit tough for the travelers carrying heavy luggage to bring it up.
Very nice location close to all the public transportations. Clean with new bathroom. No elevator until first floor where the reception is and the room was very very small.
The hotel is well situated in the city, close to the rail terminus and within easy walking distance of most of the well known attractions.
It is necessary to carry bags up a long flight of stairs from the street to reception
Nice room with air conditioning, good location. Within walking distance to mainy tourist sites also close to the metro, train and bus stations for access further afield - Vatican, airports etc.
Minor issue, would have liked tea/coffee making facities in the room. Be aware of the long flight of stairs to the reception, not a problem for us, but will be for those with impaired mobility.
The closeness of the Hotel to all the wonderful things which we came to see with respect to its architecture, ancient monuments and art treasures and the beautiful city itself. My husband and I will certainly be returning within the next year and looking forward to booking our accomodation with you. Thank you so much for a beutiful few days, we will be looking to spend a greater length of time on our next visit,Sincerely , Suzanne Winters
Located at a very good place in Rome, this hotel is a good choice. It is comfortable and clean and provides everything a couple visiting Rome needs.
For those carrying heavy luggage, note that there is a significant staircase to climb to the hotel and only inside there is a small elevator to the upper floors.
No wi-fi in my room
The location is very good. If you're willing to walk (essential for a trip in Rome), you can visit the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum and Piazza di Spagna (among many others) on foot. If you are not willing to walk, the hotel is very close to one of the many subway stations in the city (although I think Rome is for those who like to walk a lot!) Although very small (the bathroom is minimal!), The room is cozy and tastefully decorated. The staff is helpful and speaks good English, especially the gentleman who assisted me (Tony was his name) who was extremely friendly and attentive! Very important: we had access to high speed internet in our room, which for us is essential. Very good! The breakfast was ok, but nothing else.
The price I paid at the time was good - the standards of the city of Rome. It is important to the traveler to know that Rome is one of the cities where the hotels are more expensive and with lower quality. Do not expect anything too good to stay in for less than usd 300.00. If you want to spend less (yet still too much for a three star hotel in another city), will have to settle for small rooms, as is the case of this hotel.
tranquillity off the area - very kind staff - easy going life style
bath not 100% oké
Great value for money. Excellent breakfast. Location was close to termini station. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Rome.
Just the big staircase to climb to go in with the luggage, but the porters were nice to bring luggage to room and out of hotel.
Staff very helpful in providing assistance in getting to know the area and recommendations for dinner etc. Room was cleaned with fresh linen and towels daily. excellent location very close to termini train station an ideal starting point for any stay in Rome.
This hotel is located excellent near to railway station. The hotel is well furnished, everything is working. The stuff is friendly and helpful.
Good location at walking distance from Termini and metro Republica. They also have a good breakfast with a decent selection of food.
The interior design with the dark-blue wallpaper made the room quite dark. Let's say: old-fashioned has to be your style.
Really liked this hotel, perfect for a Rome weekend, although we got out of the wrong exit from train station - looked a little unsafe but ended up being great location lots of restaurants around. Thought the bed was going to be a bit hard but it was the best nights sleep we had around Europe.
